Famille de Fabre Chateau de Luc Rose 2019
Varietal: Cinsault, Grenache
Alcohol: 12.5%
Region: Corbières, France
Appreciated by most South of France Rose Organic Wine drinkers.
This wine is pale salmon on colour. On the nose have intense aromas of fresh slightly unripe raspberries and red currants. On the palate has a salty fleshy mouth with lychees, roses and white peaches with a dry acidity on the finish.
"The vineyards of Chateau de Luc have a rich diversity of soils: recent alluvial soil, rolled pebble soil, and deep plots of limestone that dates back to the Miocene. They offer little fertility and high minerality. The strong Cers (North-west wind) blows down from the garrigue and infuses the wines with aromas of juniper and rosemary.
The grapes are hand harvest at night to preserve aromatic potencial. The Vinification process is done by direct press, low temperatures vinification in stainless still tanks.
This wine is served at 8-12 degrees and is well enjoyed best on a seafood Summer feast. Try with Oysters opened on the BBQ, grilled lobster, grilled prawns and grilles salmon. Enjoy!
